Will Gmail ban my account for sending cold email?

Not if you stay under your provider's daily cap. We rate-limit every connected mailbox against the cap your provider enforces (Gmail 500/day, Outlook 1,000/day, Yahoo 100/day), ramp new domains over a 14-day warmup, and add a one-click unsubscribe to every email (the standard Gmail and Outlook now require). The accounts that get banned are the ones blasting 500/day from day one with no warmup, exactly what we won't let you do.

How is Bulk Email Boxer different from Mailchimp or SendGrid?

Mailchimp and SendGrid are built for newsletters and receipts, great for that, fatal for cold email. They send from shared servers used by thousands of senders (many already flagged as spam), their terms ban cold outreach, and the 'via mailchimp.com' tag screams 'mass email.' Bulk Email Boxer flips that: you connect your own Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP, and we add the deliverability layer, warmup, send limits, list cleaning, and auto-pause on bounces. Every email goes out under your own domain and reputation, signed by your own provider.

Will my domain reputation stay safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's the entire bet. Every new mailbox starts on a 14-day warmup (5 emails on day 1, ramping to 500/day by day 14) so your reputation builds up instead of getting hammered overnight. We keep every mailbox under its provider's daily limit, send through your provider's own secure connection, check recipients before sending so dead addresses never hurt your reputation, and auto-pause any mailbox that starts bouncing or drawing complaints.

Do I need my own domain to start?

You don't strictly need one to test the product, you can connect any existing Gmail / Outlook / Yahoo / Zoho mailbox via app password and start the trial in 5 minutes. For serious cold outreach though, we strongly recommend buying a secondary domain ($12/year on Namecheap or Cloudflare Registrar), forwarding it to your real inbox, and warming up mailboxes there so your primary domain stays untouched. The product walks you through this in onboarding.

What happens after my 14-day trial?

Your trial is 14 days, with 1,000 free emails, up to 2 connected mailboxes and 1,000 leads. After day 14, you pick a paid plan to keep sending, or you do nothing and your account simply pauses. We never auto-charge a card, because we never collect one upfront.

Can I send from my Gmail / Outlook / Yahoo / SMTP?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that's the whole point. You connect your existing mailbox via app password (5 minutes per inbox). We dispatch through your provider's SMTP. Your domain reputation, your IPs, your control. We never operate sending infrastructure of our own.

What if my mailbox app password is rotated outside the app?

Accepted Answer

We detect it. After 3 consecutive SMTP authentication failures the sender is automatically deactivated and you get an email at the workspace owner address explaining how to reconnect. No silent failure, no campaigns disappearing into a black hole.

What happens to my campaigns if I cancel mid-month?

Accepted Answer

Active campaigns are paused immediately when your subscription ends. In-flight sends (already enqueued in the dispatcher) complete cleanly so no recipient gets a half-sent message. Your campaign leads stay exportable as CSV for as long as the account exists.

How do you handle data security and GDPR?

Accepted Answer

Your mailbox passwords are encrypted at rest with strong, industry-standard encryption, and all traffic is encrypted in transit. You can export your campaign leads to CSV anytime and request a full data export, and account erasure is self-serve (a two-step confirmation, no support ticket). We list every subprocessor (Supabase, GCP, Vercel, Stripe, Reoon, Webshare) in our Privacy Policy so EU customers can complete their DPA review without contacting us.

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Subscription charges are non-refundable as a matter of policy. You can cancel at any time before the next billing cycle to stop future charges. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@bulkemailboxer.com within 7 days and we will review the request and may grant a full or partial refund at our discretion. Email Verifier credit packs are non-refundable once delivered, but credits never expire so you can use them whenever you need.
